This year, Playboy celebrated its 50th anniversary of its Playboy Club and the Playboy Bunny with a sexy new show at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Called Playboy Redux, the show brought together nearly two dozen contemporary artists to reinterpret the Playboy Bunny icon.

Artists in the exhibition included: Scott Anderson, Gary Baseman, Tim Bishop, Shag, Zoe Charlton, Ain Cocke, Brian Ewing, Brendan Fernandes, Jeremy Fish, Moyna Flannigan, Latoya Ruby Frazier, Chitra Ganesh, Ludovica Gioscia, Jeremy Kost, Frank Kozik, Simone Leigh, Kalup Linzy, Tara McPherson, Hiroki Otsuka, Seth Scriver, Andrew Schoultz, SEEN, Vadis Turner, Saya Woolfalk, and O Zhang.

The opening reception was this past weekend, and the exhibition runs through June 17. Here are a few stand-out pieces from the show.

Paintings by Ricky Allman

Ricky Allman (born 24 October 1978) is an American  painter and professor born in Provo, Utah.  Allman is currently an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  Raised in Utah, his work reflects many aspects of his upbringing, including the geographical environment, mountainous landscapes, and Mormon architecture.
