October, 1934: The vast and intricate framework of zeppelin model LZ 129, under construction at Friedrichshafen, Germany. With a gas capacity of 7,070,000 cubic feet, and christened “Hindenburg,” she became the largest — and ultimately, for all the wrong reasons, the most famous — airship the world has ever seen.

Sublevação - Uprising by Danilo Kato
Danilo Kato was born in Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. When he was just three years old he moved to Japan. Spent few years of his childhood there and after moved back to Brazil in São Paulo city. Of native-brazilian, portuguese and japanese descent, he likes to mix these distinct cultures that are in his blood on his way. Inconstant, preference swings between the cultures, but he likes to balance them in a meaningful, strong and detailed composition on his artwork.
Fond of obscure and introspective theme, an abundance of black and white, sharp tip vegetals, hearts and skulls is present. Nature lover too, he grew up always being among animals and natural environments. So he likes the most to merge up elements like imaginary little monsters, magic plants, natural landscapes behind little sad tales.
As influence, he picks brazilian baroque architecture style, surrealism, ukiyo-e, manga style and such, but mostly anything that touches his soul with strength. In his world of rock and bossa nova and shibuya-kei, everything is possible. There are forces, fragilities, pains and screamings, but mainly love. It’s everything different, but everything together. This is the Danilo Kato’s world.
