Disco Chair, by Kiwi&Pom
This is the Disco Chair, the brainchild of Kiwi&Pom, and though we’re not fans of things with the word ‘disco’ in their names, this one is outstanding and beautiful. It’s made with 200 meters of electroluminescent wire, and the lighting can flash on and off (hence the disco moniker). Hit up the source for a few more shots.

I did a photography competition, one of the themes of this was “Splat”, to use opaque liquid to make a splat. It was very difficult, and it makes me really admire the complex beauty that is going here. Amazing.

“I remember when I was in grade school, on the first day of classes I would scan through all of my brand new academic books in search of cool, colorful charts and graphs. I didnt realize it back then, but the “colorful pictures” that I found so entertaining were actually examples of a discipline called “infographics” or graphical representations of information. Information Graphics range from the very simple “Coke and Sugar Cube” example (below the Youtube video), to mind bendingly intricate designs that, once digested, are actually pretty easy to understand. Check out this video (Royksopp- “Remind Me” made with all infographics - Great song too) as well as some cool examples that I found across the web. Cheers!”
